Beginner Level OSINT – Course Overview by Mishaal Khan

Because this is a course for beginners, there are no VMs. As we get deeper into the tools and techniques in “Level Up OSINT” and “Next Level OSINT” (coming soon as part of an entire OSINT “Path” 🥸 ), that will change. That’s not to say there are no tools to try on your own. They’re just not provided in a web-based VM on the JHT platform.

There still is interactivity! Not only will you be encouraged to play on your own, there are multiple quizzes to test your comprehension and understanding. A cumulative Mid-Term Quiz is at the end of Chapter 5, and then a Final Quiz at the end of Chapter 9. The course will then culminate in a Capstone Challenge to put everything together.

This course has been a long time in the making. Online, self-paced courses are never the same as seeing my smiling face and interactive with live students (and AI lol), but I put my all into making this introductory course as engaging as possible. I’m thrilled to present it to you, and even more thrilled you trust me to teach you!

Prerequisites for Beginner Level OSINT

No prior knowledge of OSINT is assumed. If you have a keen interest in digging into the internet to find information and a basic understanding on using an internet browser, you’re good to go!
